Posterior Cervical (back of the neck) Fusion is surgery performed to promote the growth of seperate bones into one solid unit of bone. The surgery joins two or more neck vertebrae and is most commonly used to treat neck fractures, dislocations, deformity correction and for a failed union following anterior cervical (front of the neck) fusion.
